Opening May 8
We are finally opening our physical bookstore starting May 8! After a few months of hard work increasing our inventory thanks to your donations and our incessant book hunting, we are finally excited to share with you the launch of our physical store. We are so proud to be the first and only English second-hand bookstore in Zürich and thank you to everyone that has made this dream come true.
The Location
Our store is located in Goldbrunnenstrasse 120, 8055 Zürich in the same building as the House of Gentle Arts (HOGA) and conveniently next to bus 32, tram 9 and tram 14 (Goldbrunnenplatz stop) and 6 min away from Bahnhof Wiedikon.
Our Working Hours
We will be open Mon-Thursday 4pm-7pm and Fri-Sat 10am-7pm.
Our Collection
We will launch with a collection of over 800 books spanning from fiction to non-fiction, romance to fantasy, and culinary to children's books. All books are in English, second-hand, fairly priced and in great conditions.
Store Benefits
We will continue selling books online as previously but the physical store will bring some additional benefits:
1. You can purchase books on our website and skip the delivery costs by picking up your order
2. You can bring >10 books as a donation and benefit from 20% discount on your store purchases
3. You can browse our newly added store-exclusive books which have a lower flat price of 4CHF
4. You can read any book at leisure in our store prior to purchase
Payments
In store, we will exclusively accept cash or TWINT payments.
